NEWS From September 22, 2018

 

We have been blessed with two new sisters who both arrived from our priory in East Orange, New Jersey: Sr. Monika Maria (German), who spent eight years in East Orange, and Sr. Theresia Maria (Dutch) who spent eleven years in East Orange. Sr. Anne of Jesus, our former Prioress, left Princeville on August 30th, 2018 for a Sabbatical Year (a time of prayer and rest). Let us keep her in our prayers.

On September 8, 2018, feast of the birth of Mary and the 34th Anniversary of our Religious Congregation, we had the joy of welcoming Caitlin Tuttle (a young woman from Ohio) into postulancy.  This means that this year in Princeville, there will be 10 of us total.

Another very joyful event for which we are preparing is the investiture of one of our novices: Crystal (Odom). The celebration will be on November 3, 2018 in the presence of Sr. Claire of Jesus, our Prioress General, who will be here for her canonical visit.

Please pray for Crystal as she is preparing for another step in her Religious Life in our Congregation.
