St. John Priory. East Orange, NJ
"The apostolate of the Apostolic Sisters of Saint John is fulfilled in communion with the Bishop of the Diocese, a life of evangelization; it involves first of all the witness of a life of adoration, of contemplation and of fraternal charity overflowing into hospitality and spiritual help in all its forms." - Constitutions of the Congregation #6
In response to the late Archbishop John J. Meyers' invitation, we came to the Archdiocese of Newark, New Jersey in 2007.
We strive to bear witness to the presence of Christ, and bring hope and peace for those in our neighborhood and for everyone we encounter in our apostolic life.
Just for Laughs
WE LIVE BY PROVIDENCE.
Everyday we pray for many things and one of them is food. Father and provider as he is, the Lord gives as necessary. Everyday, he sends those blessed persons who share their blessings. Vegetables, meat, dishes, desserts, sweets... name it. The Lord never falls short, not even in his surprises.
One ordinary day, something extraordinary happened.
